How We Operate

Our service is provided by crews. Crews arrive to your homestead via pickup-truck or via barge. They may have trailers attached to their trucks as well.

  • Crews are typically made up of a 3 man team.
  • Crew leaders have access to previous years’ installation and removal information to keep year-to-year performance consistent.
  • Crews have multiple job sites per day.
  • Our sales and service teams coordinate the crews, and our crews execute the plans in the field.

Equipment We May Use

Our crews utilize equipment and methods that have been proved for decades! The length of your dock and the size of your lifts are the biggest factors in determining what we will use.

Fork Barge

Used to move class 1 lifts from shore to position in the water efficiently, safely, and quickly.

Using hydraulic forks, a two man team can place lifts into slips or on the sides of docks with precision and speed. Be sure to double check there is a clear path to your lift from the shore. First time removal customers will want to have an idea of where they would like the lift placed.

Crane Barge

Used to move both Class 1 and Class 2 lifts into position.

Using a crane that extends, a two man team can move lifts from tall/hard to reach shorelines into position. Be sure to double check there is a clear path to your lift from the shore. First time removal customers will want to have an idea of where they would like the lift placed.

Floats & Winches

Used to move lifts into place when barges are not needed.

By securing large floats to lifts, they can easily be moved and put into place without any machinery. When removing, we often use chainsaw winches to pull lifts with wheels into place for the winter.First time removal customers will want to have an idea of where they would like the lift placed.

Transport Barge

Used to move dock or boat lifts to job sites where a specialized barge is not needed.

Used in tandem with floats, lifts can be maneuvered into place and set for the season. Often used for new installs when delivering products.

Emergency After Hours Service

In the event of an emergency, we have a crew leader on standby that can come help in your time of need. One of our crew leaders will come out to assess the situation and ensure no further damage or injury until appropriate resources can be dispatched for the repair.

  • Hourly Rate $130/HR
  • If the lift requires service or multiple parts, the office will schedule a return visit.
  • Time starts from the crew leader leaving the shop to the time they return to the shop.

NOTE: Depending on your situation, you may not have your lift operational after completion of this service. It will ensure your property is safe, and will organize the resources needed to get your lift operational again.
